Katherine Jean Bolduan also called Kate Bolduan by professional names is a broadcast journalist from America. She is best known as the anchor of the CNN morning show At This Hour. She had previously been a co-host on the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN s award-winning coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections. Bolduan was an Washington DC-based correspondent for the congressional reporting on activities of and around the US House of Representatives and Senate. In her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported about the legislative process and other congressional activities, including negotiations to increase the debt ceiling for federal government as well as the super committee's discussions. Her general assignment work has included stories about Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. She began working for CNN Newsource in 2007. She worked as a CNN Newsource national correspondent, providing breaking news and feature reporting to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations.
