Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer who is best known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. Then, in 1956 she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway with Li'l Abner. The same year, She made her debut album of songs, called It's the Time for Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success and Louise earned an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the course of this film, she was enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection with Lee Strasberg as his student. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career, balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious rather than her glamour-doll image had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary however she also made a mark as a successful television director with numerous series, including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex August 28th on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto for her childhood. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and was there ever for the last ten years.
