Zoe-perry

Perry is born the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago in Illinois. She was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mother in both her two appearances on Roseanne. The actress did not go on to explore acting as a profession until after she had reached the age of adulthood due to her parents being concerned about the adverse effects that stress could have. Perry she was shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began performing in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry following her graduation from Boston University, relocated in New York in search of acting roles on television. Her small part was on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness brought her back to California for theater roles. She appeared on Broadway in The Other Place with her mother in 2013. The show featured their father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the year 2015 at The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. She had a regular role in the ABC political drama Scandal that starred her dad. In the same year, her character was cast a younger character of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) on Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again as a teen model of the mother's. She was cast in the role despite having a close relationship with the character's family.
