Zoe-perry
Perry is a Chicago native born to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. One of her first TV performances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother portrayed the role. In fear of stress, her parents did not want to see the actress pursue acting until turning age 18. Perry shy and timid to perform in the school, began to perform in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new acquaintances. Perry, after graduating from Boston University, relocated in New York in search of acting roles on television. Her small part was on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness led her to California to find theater work. In 2013, she appeared in The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. In 2015, she performed with her father as well as Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie on the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry was a part of nine episodes of ABC's show The Family. Perry played a prominent role in the ABC political drama Scandal that starred her dad. The actress also portrayed the older Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was which is a CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The character was picked via auditions the fact that she had a deep connection with it.
