Zoe-perry
Perry was born in Chicago to two actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Her first TV roles included two roles as Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) on The ABC sitcom Roseanne, the character portrayed by her mom. The actress did not go on to explore acting as a profession until she reached the age of adulthood due to her parents being afraid of the negative consequences stress can have. Perry shy and shy to be a part of the theater in her high school, started to act in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new acquaintances. Perry managed to get minor TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent after she graduated. The feeling of homelessness, however, led her to California and she returned performing in the stage. Her mother and she appeared on Broadway together in The Other Place, in 2013. In 2015 she performed alongside her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry was a part of the drama's nine episodes from 2016 on ABC's show The Family. Her father played her on The ABC Drama Scandal. The character she played was a younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off series of CBS's The Big Bang Theory was another younger portrayal of her mother. She got the part by auditioning for an open role despite being connected to the persona.
