Zoe-perry

Perry is she is Chicago native she was born into Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Two of her earliest television appearances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played her role. The parents of her didn't want her to pursue acting until she became older and worried about the consequences of stress. Perry stated that she was shy to act during high school, but started acting at Northwestern University as a way to make friends after transferring to the university from Boston University. Perry began her career as an actress in New York after graduation, performing in minor roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homesickness led to Perry go back to California to work as an actress in the theater. The Other Place was performed by her and her mother on Broadway in 2013. In the year 2015, she was alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer-winning Drama Anna Christie. The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC drama The Family in 2016. In 2017, she starred in a recurring role on the ABC Political thriller Scandal with her father. She played the younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off series of CBS's The Big Bang Theory was another younger portrayal of her mother. The character was picked through an audition, even having a strong association with it.
