Zoe-perry
Perry was born to Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mother in both the two episodes she appeared on Roseanne. The parents of her did not want her to pursue acting until she became an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry was shy during high school and did not act. The actress began her acting career at Northwestern University to gain friends when she moved from Boston University. After graduating Perry relocated to New York to search for TV work, landing a few roles on series such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent However, she was stricken by homelessness and brought her back to California which is where she discovered theater jobs. In 2013, she was a part of The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. Perry was in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie and Kevin McKidd. This was presented in the West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry appeared in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC drama The Family in 2016. In 2017, she had a minor role on ABC's thriller about politics Scandal which starred her father. The actress also portrayed in the role of a young Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - which is a CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The actress was chosen for the role in spite of her strong family connection to the character.
