Zoe-perry

Perry is the son of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry, a director. Perry made her debut on the screen in the role of Jackie Harris, a character which was played by her mother in the ABC show Roseanne. The parents of her did not want her to play an acting career until she was older and worried about the consequences of stress. Perry acknowledged that she was not happy in school However, she started acting as an opportunity to make new students while at Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. Perry started her acting career with New York after graduation, performing in minor roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, the feeling of homelessness made Perry go back to California and pursue a career as a theatre actress. The show she performed in was Broadway on Broadway in The Other Place with her mother in 2013. In 2015 she performed alongside her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Anna Christie on the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry appeared in 9 episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. In 2017, she played a recurring role on the ABC film Scandal featuring her father. That same year she played a young model of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory), portraying her mother in a youthful version. She was able to be cast in the part despite having a close family connection to the character.
