Zoe-perry
Perry is she is Chicago native she was born into Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Her first appearance was on television as Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne. She did not consider a career in acting after reaching the age of adulthood due to her parents being afraid of the negative impact stress might be a cause of. Perry was shy during high school and did not act. Her first acting experience was at Northwestern University to gain friends when she moved from Boston University. Perry managed to get minor TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent when she finished her degree. Homesickness, however, caused her to move back to California and she returned to work in the stage. In 2013, she was a part of The Other Place on Broadway with her mother. In 2015, she starred alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning Drama Anna Christie. It is part of the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. In 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family. Her father played her character in The ABC drama Scandal. She played an older Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off show that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was another younger portrayal of her mother. She got the part in an audition that was open despite being a fan of the persona.
